Kuala lumpur: Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) and Unifi TV have been appointed as the official broadcasters of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Malaysia. This initiative by the government aims to ensure that the public can enjoy the tournament comprehensively and legitimately.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil announced the decision, which was made through collaboration with the private sector. This partnership ensures high-quality broadcasting and expands the reach to audiences nationwide. The tournament will be accessible on various platforms, including free-to-air via MyTV and over-the-top (OTT) platforms through RTM Klik and Unifi TV.
Fahmi stated that Unifi TV would provide live coverage of all 104 matches, while RTM would broadcast most matches either live or on a delayed basis, offering fans multiple viewing options.
