PH’s ‘Johor Untuk Semua’ Manifesto Shaped By People’s Needs, Economic Realities – Teo

Johor bahru: The Pakatan Harapan (PH) manifesto 'Johor Untuk Semua' (Johor For All), launched today for the 16th Johor state election, is not just empty rhetoric, but is shaped by the people's needs and the state's economic realities, said Johor DAP chairman Teo Nie Ching. Teo expressed confidence that all the initiatives outlined in the manifesto can be delivered, provided there is strong support and close cooperation from the federal government.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Teo described the manifesto as balanced, catering to varied demographics including youth, mothers, and children. After the launch, she highlighted key priorities such as addressing education issues and reducing waiting times at the Johor-Singapore border crossings by 50 percent. Teo emphasized that achieving these objectives would require effective coordination with the Home Ministry.

Furthermore, Teo expressed confidence that Selangor's experience in implementing a similar health scheme could serve as a useful reference for Johor. She assured the people of Johor, known as 'Bangsa Johor', that the proposed initiatives are practical and achievable, drawing parallels with Selangor's success.

Earlier, Pakatan Harapan introduced the "Johor Untuk Semua" manifesto as part of their campaign for the upcoming Johor state election. The manifesto comprises 10 key proposals, including the Johor Health Scheme, assistance for first-time homebuyers, a RM500 million fund to boost youth development, and initiatives to strengthen the education sector.

The Johor state election is scheduled for July 11, with early voting set for July 7.
