The invitation was extended following a meeting with his Indonesian counterpart, Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, during a courtesy call at Wisma Pertahanan.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Ministry of Defence emphasized that this invitation highlights the commitment of both nations to enhance defence relations through initiatives at both bilateral and multilateral levels. The courtesy call between the two ministers underscores the unwavering dedication to fostering robust cooperation for regional peace and stability.

The upcoming 17th edition of LIMA is scheduled to take place from May 20 to 24 in Langkawi.
