Kuala lumpur: Following the alarming increase in online fraud cases, the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) launched the 'Jom Beli Selamat!: Klik Tanpa Risau' campaign to strengthen consumer protection in the digital ecosystem.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali said the joint initiative by Shopee and the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) aimed to intensify the consumer education agenda, particularly in cultivating safer online transaction practices and reducing the risk of consumers becoming victims of fraud. The minister emphasized the importance of collaboration to address scam issues and ensure safer online shopping experiences. He made these remarks during the launch of the 'Jom Beli Selamat' campaign at the Shopee Seller Summit 2026.
