JPKK Urged to Maintain Integrity in Fund Management – Aminuddin

Kuala lumpur: All Village Development and Security Committee (JPKK) chairpersons and committee members have been urged to maintain integrity in managing the funds entrusted to them, stated Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun. He emphasized that allocations provided through various initiatives are a responsibility that must be managed appropriately, highlighting that any form of misappropriation, abuse, or implementation delays could damage the government’s reputation and erode public trust.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Aminuddin stressed the importance of integrity in managing government funds, stating that every sen disbursed is a trust from the people. He cited the Sejati MADANI Initiative fund as an example, asserting that it must be managed responsibly, transparently, and effectively. Aminuddin described this financial allocation as a symbol of the government’s trust in the JPKK, underscoring that there should be no room for abuse, leakage, or wastage.

In his speech at the ‘Majlis Amanat Menteri Besar’ with 434 JPKK members, Aminuddin highlighted that the appointments for the new JPKK term would be evaluated based on management performance, meeting implementation, achievements, and the execution of Sejati MADANI programmes. These components, he noted, would act as key indicators for the government, particularly state assemblymen, to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the services provided.

During the event, senior state executive councillor Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias also addressed the JPKK members, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between JPKK chairpersons and their respective assemblymen to ensure the smooth and effective implementation of development programmes. Jalaluddin reminded the members that the core responsibility of the JPKK is village development and management, cautioning against using the JPKK as a tool for personal gain or to undermine others.

The event also included all JPKK members taking the Corruption-Free Pledge, witnessed by Negeri Sembilan Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission director Awgkok Ahmad Taufik Putra Awg Ismail.
