Bagan Datuk: The National Institute of Entrepreneurship (INSKEN) has set an ambitious target to train 25,000 entrepreneurs this year, building on its success of training 13,000 entrepreneurs across the nation last year.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, INSKEN chairman Mustaffa Kamil Ayub highlighted the achievements of entrepreneurs trained in the previous year, noting that most were able to boost their sales value following participation in the institute’s guidance program. Mustaffa emphasized that INSKEN plans to organize a variety of entrepreneurship programs and training sessions throughout the year to support targeted entrepreneurs nationwide.
Last year, INSKEN exceeded its initial target by training 13,000 entrepreneurs through collaborative training and guidance programs with other agencies, departments, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Mustaffa shared these insights during a media conference after officiating the closing ceremony of the Basic Skills and Entrepreneurship Course and the Compliance with Tourism Operator Regulations for the Central Perak District, Bagan Datuk at Dewan Millenium of the Kampung Gajah District and Land Office.
Mustaffa also reiterated INSKEN’s commitment to the development of entrepreneurs, especially from the B40 and asnaf groups, aiming to elevate their income through trading, identified as a major income source. By offering various initiatives, INSKEN supports entrepreneurs nationwide and aligns with the government’s call to assist these groups.
INSKEN is also engaging in strategic collaborations with various related NGOs to amplify its impact. Mustaffa stressed the importance of such strategic partnerships in achieving the common goal of helping entrepreneurs expand their businesses.
