Kuala lumpur: Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad has asked all parties to be patient and wait for the results of the medical report related to the case of former PKR Deputy President Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli’s son. Speaking to reporters after witnessing the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Roche (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for the Cancer Care Closer to Community (CCC) initiative here today, Dzulkefly said the matter is still under investigation and will take some time to be resolved.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Dzulkefly emphasized that the investigation and treatment process requires time, and the public should allow the investigation to run its course. He expressed confidence that the findings and results will do justice to the matter once completed. The case has drawn significant attention following reports of an attack on Rafizi’s son around 2 pm at a shopping mall drop-off area.
Rafizi claimed that two men, dressed in black clothes and helmets, executed the attack while riding a motorcycle. One of the men allegedly dragged his son and injected him with an unknown substance using a syringe. The incident has prompted a thorough investigation by the authorities.
Last Friday, Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail revealed that statements had been taken from 19 individuals, including Rafizi’s family members, a driver, employees, and other witnesses to aid in the investigation. The police are currently awaiting a chemical report from the hospital concerning the liquid injected into Rafizi’s son, which is expected to shed further light on the case.
