Ahmad Ramdzan Appointed New IIM President And CEO

Kuala lumpur: Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Special Branch director Datuk Ahmad Ramdzan Daud has been appointed as the new president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM), effective today. In a statement, IIM announced that Ahmad Ramdzan will replace Rahman Mohd Din, who transitioned to the role of deputy secretary-general (Policy and Monitoring) at the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development, effective July 21.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ahmad Ramdzan commenced his service with PDRM as a probationary inspector at the Kuala Lumpur Police Training Centre in April 1987. His career has seen him occupy several key positions prior to his appointment as Special Branch director in 2022. These roles include assistant director of Economic Extremist Threats (Special Branch), security liaison officer in Washington, DC, United States, and head of the Johor Special Branch.

Ahmad Ramdzan also holds the position of president of the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy Associates (FBINAA) Asia Pacific Chapter (7th Division Malaysia), as per the statement. His academic credentials include a Master of Science (Honours) in Information Management from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, awarded in 2008.

IIM staff have extended their congratulations and a warm welcome to Ahmad Ramdzan on his new appointment, while also expressing their gratitude to Rahman Mohd Din for his dedication and contributions to the institute during his tenure.
