Kuala Kangsar:A woman was discovered dead in a pool of blood in the living room of a house in Kampung Cheh Kati, Kuala Kangsar this afternoon.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Kuala Kangsar police chief ACP Heisham Harun reported that a police report was lodged at 2.38 pm after the victim's family found her lying face down and unconscious inside the house.

Police have arrested two men who are believed to be related to the victim and suspected to be connected to the case. Initial investigations suggest that the incident may have occurred due to a misunderstanding between the victim and the suspects. A knife, believed to be the weapon used, was also found at the scene.

The victim's body has been sent to the Taiping Hospital Forensic Department for a post-mortem. The two suspects are scheduled to be brought to court tomorrow for a remand application.

The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code and classified as murder.
