Kuala Lumpur:Top developers were celebrated at the 13th PropertyGuru Asia Awards Malaysia, in partnership with iProperty, highlighting excellence across the real estate sector.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Timber Land Group achieved the top honour as Best Developer, marking its first win in this category. They also secured the Best Developer award for East Malaysia.
CPI Land was recognized as Best Developer for Central Malaysia, with their project Tuan Straits earning accolades. Tanah Sutera succeeded in both the Best Developer for Southern Malaysia and Best Landed Homes Developer categories, supported by their project, The Seed.
JLand Group emerged as the Best Township Developer, collecting the most awards of any company. Their projects, including Arena Larkin, Bandar Tiram, and Ibrahim Technopolis (IBTEC) - Aspiration Park, were honored across Developer, Development, and Design categories.
The awards also acknowledged significant individual contributions to Malaysian real estate. Sunway Group founder and chairman Tan Sri Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Cheah received the Life Achievement Award, while Sime Darby Property's group managing director and CEO Datuk Seri Azmir Merican was named Real Estate Personality of the Year.
The Consumer Demand Award highlighted Leisure Farm Resort by Mulpha International as the Most In-Demand Bungalow/Villa, alongside winning Best Resort-Style Township Development.
A total of 15,383 votes were cast by Malaysian property enthusiasts, with People's Choice Awards going to Berinda Group, Coronade Properties Sdn Bhd, CPI Land, Gunung Impian Development Sdn Bhd, and JLand Group.
For the first time, PropertyGuru.com.my and iProperty.com.my presented the Real Estate Ecosystem Catalyst Award to IIB Experience Centre (IIBEX) by Iskandar Investment Berhad.
The inaugural Consistency Excellence Awards recognized companies with consecutive wins. Gunung Impian Development Sdn Bhd received the 4-Year Consistency Excellence Award, and the 3-Year Consistency Excellence Awards were given to Armani Group, Astaka Padu Sdn Bhd, Berinda Group, and Coronade Properties Sdn Bhd, among others.
Winners from this event may advance to the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final, which will take place on December 11 at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok.
