Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain Forecasted Across Malaysia Until 7 PM

Kuala lumpur: Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds are anticipated to impact the federal capital and 10 states until 7pm tonight.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia has issued a statement identifying the affected areas, including Kedah, where Baling, Kulim, and Bandar Baharu are expected to experience severe weather conditions.

In Penang, the regions of Seberang Perai Utara, Seberang Perai Tengah, and Seberang Perai Selatan are also under the weather warning. Similarly, Perak is on alert, with regions such as Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama, Kuala Kangsar, Manjung, Kinta, Perak Tengah, Kampar, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang, and Muallim expected to be affected.

The forecast extends to Selangor, targeting areas like Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Petaling, and Hulu Langat. In Pahang, the warning includes Raub, Jerantut, Bentong, Temerloh, Maran, Kuantan, Bera, Pekan, and Rompin. Meanwhile, Terengganu's Dungun and Kemaman, as well as Kuala Lumpur, are also bracing for inclement weather.

The alert further covers parts of Negeri Sembilan, specifically Jelebu, Jempol, and Tampin, along with Jasin in Melaka and various locations in Johor. Over in Sarawak, the warning has been issued for Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, and several areas in Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, and Kapit.
