Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning on thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds affecting several states in Peninsular Malaysia and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur until 4 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the adverse weather conditions are expected to affect Perlis, Kedah, and Penang. Other areas impacted include Negeri Sembilan (Jelebu), Selangor (Hulu Selangor, Gombak, Petaling, and Hulu Langat), as well as Johor (Segamat, Kluang, Kulai, Kota Tinggi, and Johor Bahru).

In addition, Pahang (Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Raub, and Bentong), Perak (Kerian, Larut Matang and Selama, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Kampar, Batang Padang, and Muallim), and Kelantan (Tumpat, Pasir Mas, and Tanah Merah) are also involved.
