Kuala Lumpur:The Malaysian Meteorological Department has issued a warning for thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds across seven states, effective until 5 pm today.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the affected areas include the entire state of Perlis; specific regions in Kedah such as Sik, Baling, Kulim, and Bandar Baharu; and several districts in Perak including Kerian, Selama, Larut Matang, Manjung, Perak Tengah, Bagan Datuk, and Hilir Perak.
The warning also applies to Terengganu, covering areas like Setiu, Hulu Terengganu, Kuala Nerus, Kuala Terengganu, Marang, Dungun, and Kemaman. In Pahang, the districts of Raub, Temerloh, Jerantut, and Kuantan are affected.
In Selangor, the areas under alert are Kuala Selangor, Klang, Kuala Langat, Sabak Bernam, and Sepang. Additionally, in Sarawak, the affected regions include Bintulu, Mukah (Dalat), Sri Aman (Lubok Antu), Miri (Subis), Sibu (Selangau and Kanowit), and Kapit (Song).
