Haj, Umrah and Tourism Carnival Supports Pilgrimage Preparations

Jakarta:The fifth Haj, Umrah, and Tourism Carnival (KHUP5) begins today and will run for three days, providing a platform to assist prospective haj pilgrims in preparing for their pilgrimage more effectively.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) Group managing director and CEO Mustakim Mohamad announced the participation of 34 Haj Pilgrims Management Companies (PJH) offering special haj packages for the 1448H/2027M pilgrimage season. In addition to haj packages, attendees can gain insights into umrah packages and Islamic tourism, making KHUP5 a comprehensive resource for organizing religious pilgrimages.

Mustakim highlighted the carnival's focus on financial preparation through sessions like 'Menuju Istito'ah Multi Tabung.' The event also provides access to services from six major banking institutions and Islamic estate planning providers, offering Shariah-compliant financial solutions such as savings, financing, and travel protection.

TH Travel and Services Sdn Bhd CEO Tengku Datuk Badlishah Shukri Tengku Ibrahim urged pilgrims to avoid scams through the 'No Visa, No Haj' campaign. He emphasized the importance of choosing PJH companies registered with TH and verifying information from official sources to ensure a meaningful haj experience.

Throughout KHUP5, TH Travel is offering various pilgrimage and tourism packages with special discounts, including haj packages starting at RM55,000. The carnival aims to facilitate safe and organized preparations for pilgrimages and Islamic tourism.
