Thunderstorm Warning Issued for Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Six Malaysian States

Kuala Lumpur:The Malaysian Meteorological Department has issued a warning for thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds affecting Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and six states, effective until 4 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the warning includes Perak, particularly in areas such as Kuala Kangsar, Larut Matang, Manjung, Bagan Datuk, Perak Tengah, and Hilir Perak, as well as the entire state of Selangor.

Similar warnings have been issued for parts of Kelantan, specifically Pasir Puteh and Bachok, and for Terengganu, affecting Besut, Setiu, Kuala Nerus, and Kuala Terengganu.

In Sarawak, the warning covers Limbang, Marudi in Miri, Sri Aman and Lubok Antu, Betong, Tatau in Bintulu, Selangau in Sibu, and Song in Kapit.

For Sabah, the affected areas include the Interior region (Pensiangan, Sipitang, Tenom, and Tambunan), Tawau (Kalabakan and Lahad Datu), Sandakan (Kinabatangan), and the West Coast.
