Kuala Lampur:Takaful Ikhlas Family Berhad and Takaful Ikhlas General Berhad, subsidiaries of MNRB Holdings Berhad, have distributed RM956,200 in business tithe for the financial year ending March 31, 2025. This substantial distribution reflects the company's commitment to supporting the Muslim community in Malaysia.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, The MNRB Group's CEO, Datuk Rudy Rodzila Che Lamin, emphasized the importance of tithes as a tool for enhancing the well-being of the community. He highlighted that the business tithes from Takaful Ikhlas were directed to institutions across Sabah, Kelantan, Kedah, Perak, Melaka, and the Federal Territory to ensure aid reaches those in genuine need, thereby making a sustainable impact.

Datuk Rudy Rodzila Che Lamin further mentioned that the distribution is seen as a social investment aimed at empowering communities, improving the quality of life for recipients, and aiding the overall development of the ummah. This initiative underscores Takaful Ikhlas’ ongoing dedication to socio-economic development and collaboration with tithe institutions.

The distribution effort is coordinated through IKHLAS Barakah House, a syariah-compliant platform focusing on economic development, healthcare, community empowerment, education, and environmental sustainability. Within this framework, the Pusat Pungutan Zakat Wilayah Persekutuan was the largest recipient, receiving RM313,649.60 from Takaful Ikhlas General and RM68,830.40 from Takaful Ikhlas Family.

Additionally, the Sabah Islamic Religious Council, the Kelantan Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council, and the Kedah State Zakat Board each received RM156,842.80 from Takaful Ikhlas General. Zakat Melaka and Zakat Perak Al Ridzuan each received RM51,622.80, further extending the reach and impact of this philanthropic effort.
