Muar:Member of Parliament Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman and singer Bella Astillah plan to share their wedding celebrations with the public through 'Kenduri Rakyat' events in Muar, Johor, and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, at the end of this month.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Syed Saddiq expressed a desire to mark the occasion with the local community. The Muar event is scheduled for October 25, while the Kota Kinabalu gathering will take place on October 31. He invited villagers to join in the 'rewang' tradition, where attendees cook together, emphasizing the importance of sharing the joy with everyone.

Syed Saddiq also mentioned that significant quantities of rice, coconut milk, and other essentials, provided by main sponsors, will be distributed to attendees of both events.

Bella Astillah, whose real name is Dayang Nabellah Awang Astillah, 32, encouraged guests attending the Muar celebration to wear traditional Johor attire, such as Baju Melayu Teluk Belanga. For the Kota Kinabalu event, attendees are invited to wear traditional costumes from various Sabah ethnic communities.

The couple is scheduled to marry on October 10 at Menara 118, followed by a wedding reception at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) on October 18. Bella Astillah was previously married to Singapore-born singer Aliff Aziz, with whom she has two children, Mohamad Ayden Adrean, 9, and Ara Ardeanna, 6.
