Kuala Lampur:The Supply Bill 2027, also known as Budget 2027, is set to be tabled for its second reading in the Dewan Rakyat this Friday at 3:30 pm.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Finance Minister II, Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan, announced that the bill was introduced for the first reading earlier today, following the completion of the oral question and answer session.
The policy-level debate on Budget 2027 is planned to span eight days, from October 12 to 22, and will be followed by a session for ministerial responses from October 26 to 29. The committee-level debate is scheduled to take place from November 2 to 26.
Budget 2027 is the fifth budget under the MADANI Government, which was established in 2022. It is also the second budget aligned with the 13th Malaysia Plan, and will be presented by Prime Minister and Finance Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
