Sultan Muhammad V Celebrates 57th Birthday with Prayers and Community Engagement

Kelantan:The Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Muhammad V, participated in Friday prayers with the local community as part of His Royal Highness's 57th birthday celebrations at the Nurul Hidayah Mosque.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Sultan Muhammad V arrived at the mosque at 1.32 pm and was welcomed by the state Islamic Development, Dakwah, Information and Regional Relations Committee chairman Mohd Asri Mat Daud, along with members of the state executive council and senior state government officials. The Tengku Mahkota of Kelantan, Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Petra, Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud, and Kelantan police chief Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat were also in attendance.

Approximately 2,000 congregants joined the Friday prayers. After the prayers, Sultan Muhammad V, accompanied by Tengku Muhammad Fakhry, presented contributions to members of the asnaf community and officiated the opening of the Nurul Hidayah Mosque.

In the afternoon, the Sultan attended a luncheon with the people in celebration of His Royal Highness's birthday. The event concluded with Sultan Muhammad V and Tengku Muhammad Fakhry leaving at 3.05 pm.

In the evening, Sultan Muhammad V, together with the Sultanah of Kelantan, Sultanah Nur Diana Petra Abdullah, is expected to attend the "Malam Semarak Daulat" celebration at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium in honor of the Sultan's birthday.
