According to BERNAMA News Agency, the department has issued a statement urging all parties to prioritize the health and safety of students and school personnel due to the ongoing haze situation. The statement recommends that students wear face masks as a precautionary measure, especially those who are sensitive to haze conditions.

Schools, parents, and guardians have been advised to stay alert to changes in air quality and to follow any instructions or precautionary measures from the authorities. Parents or guardians worried about their children's health are permitted to keep them at home, provided they inform the school.

The Selangor Education Department also stated that any further updates will be communicated through the department's and schools' official channels to ensure the public receives accurate and current information.
