Kerian:The number of flood victims in the Kerian district has decreased, with 18 individuals from seven families currently remaining at a relief centre, a reduction from 25 individuals from nine families reported yesterday.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Secretariat of the Perak State Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) confirmed that as of 8 am today, all the victims are still sheltering at the PPS located at Sekolah Kebangsaan Titi Serong.
The affected individuals, originating from Taman Aman Sejahtera and Taman Desa Aman 1, have been accommodated at the centre since last Thursday. Meanwhile, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has predicted thunderstorms this afternoon across all districts, excluding Kerian, Manjung, and Bagan Datuk.
