SBS Nexus Embraces AI Tools to Enhance Client Services and Efficiency

Kuala lumpur: Integrated marketing and branding services provider SBS Nexus Bhd does not view the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) as a threat to its business, but rather as an opportunity to improve efficiency and deliver greater value to clients. Executive director Warren Cheng highlighted the company's strategic integration of AI-powered tools, focusing on data analytics and content development to enhance productivity and decision-making.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Cheng stated that AI-driven data analytics tools have enabled SBS Nexus to effectively consolidate and analyze large volumes of information. This capability allows the company to provide clients with stronger insights to support marketing and budgeting decisions. Additionally, AI-assisted content development tools are being utilized to expedite content creation while maintaining quality standards.

Cheng emphasized that AI serves as a supportive tool rather than a replacement for human expertise, with the resulting efficiency gains being passed on to clients at no additional cost. On the topic of lifestyle brand Christy Ng, Cheng noted that it remains among SBS Nexus's top five clients this year, as the fashion company expands its presence across Southeast Asia. The brand is preparing to enter Cambodia and has increased its marketing expenditure in alignment with its regional expansion plans.

SBS Nexus collaborates closely with Christy Ng's team to navigate the challenges of entering new markets, which require a deeper understanding of local culture and consumer behavior. Cheng mentioned that SBS Nexus is leveraging its clients' regional expansion to explore business opportunities in markets such as Singapore, Cambodia, and the Philippines.

Regarding the group's own expansion plans, Cheng revealed that SBS Nexus is evaluating opportunities beyond Malaysia through collaborations with local agencies in regional markets. He stated that the company is studying market practices, supplier ecosystems, and margin structures before committing to any overseas expansion. "We are looking outside Malaysia," he affirmed.
