According to BERNAMA News Agency, Kuching FC managed to secure the lead in the first half when Jerome Etame scored in the 27th minute from a pass from Ramadhan Saifullah. The visitors then had to play with only 10 men when Yuki Tanigawa was sent off for bringing down a player outside the penalty box in the 55th minute, and Melaka FC took full advantage to equalise through Do Donghyun's free kick in injury time. But it was to be Kuching FC's day as Wanja Ronald Ngah scored the winning goal just before the final whistle. Meanwhile, Star City FC drew 1-1 against Terengganu FC in Tuanku Syed Putra Stadium in Kangar tonight. Douglas Oliviera scored for Star City FC in the 56th minute while Romel Romales scored for Terengganu FC in the 77th minute.
