Negeri Sembilan: The Jualan Rahmah MADANI@Pasar (PJRM@Pasar) initiative in Negeri Sembilan is offering a 30 per cent price reduction from the market price, with RM1.9 million in subsidies. Negeri Sembilan Domestic Trade and Costs of Living (KPDN NS) director Muhammad Zahir Mazlan said the discounts, which began yesterday, continue until tomorrow.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the discounts are part of the ‘Mantai Puasa’ tradition in the state, and this week’s PJRM will be held at 49 selected locations to enhance preparations ahead of Ramadan. Three implementation methods are being carried out: within premises, outside premises, and through mobile sales.

Muhammad Zahir highlighted that at PJRM@Pasar Ampangan, a variety of sellers including five chicken sellers, two beef sellers, two fish sellers, and two vegetable sellers are offering lower prices. The initiative is expected to continue throughout the year, involving selected markets across seven districts. Local bone-in beef, for instance, is available at reduced prices of RM25-RM28 per kilogramme, along with various Ramadan essential goods such as glutinous rice, ketupat, and coconut milk.

He further mentioned that the NS KPDN plans to sustain this momentum by organizing PJRM for ‘Mantai Raya,’ given the positive response and feedback from visitors. The public is encouraged to support the MADANI government initiative through Payung RAHMAH by visiting and shopping at designated PJRM locations.
