Kuala lumpur: Rahim and Co International Property Consultants Sdn Bhd has announced a strategic affiliation with the UK-based Chestertons Global to strengthen its presence and professional real estate services 'across Malaysia and worldwide.' Its executive chairman, Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Abdul Rahman, said the affiliation represents a collaboration of vision, values, and expertise of both companies. "Together, (through this affiliation) we aspire to create a powerhouse in the real estate sector, combining our local insights and global strategies. (Rahim and Co) will leverage on technology, sustainability, and market trends to adapt to the ever-evolving landscape of property consultancy,' he said in his speech during the Rahim and Co and Chestertons affiliation announcement here today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the affiliation will enable the company to access Chestertons' extensive expertise and resources, facilitating the introduction of cutting-edge solutions to the Malaysian market. Similarly, Chestertons will benefit from Rahim and Co's established presence in Southeast Asia, strengthening its foothold in the region. "Both companies will also explore joint initiatives aimed at sustainability and social responsibility, reflecting their commitment to making a positive impact in the communities they serve,' it said.

Chestertons' global managing director, Mohamed Mussa, said that through the affiliation, the 220-year-old real estate firm would continue to build momentum and strengthen its foothold across the Asia region.
