Tumpat:Police are working to identify a man believed to be involved in vandalizing the Al-Aziz Al-Hadi Mosque in Kota SPP Warisan, Tumpat.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Tumpat police chief ACP Mohd Khairi Shafie stated that CCTV footage from the mosque captured the suspect linked to the incident, which occurred at 6:35 am. The report came from a member of the public, and initial checks revealed that the mosque's glass door was smashed and a foul-smelling, greenish-brown liquid was poured on the carpet in the prayer hall.

The case is currently being investigated under Sections 295 and 427 of the Penal Code. Authorities are also exploring the motive behind the act and assessing the extent of the damage or losses.
