PKR leaders who attended a recent Parti Bersama Malaysia (BERSAMA) event are being called upon to explain their presence at the programme, Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) chief Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim stated. He emphasized the importance of clearing up any potential confusion among party members and ensuring that their actions are not mistakenly interpreted as representing PKR's official stance.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Muhammad Kamil urged these leaders to provide a clear explanation of their attendance. He warned that if they fail to address the issue, they should not be surprised if their actions continue to be questioned by other party members. His comments come in response to an event where former PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli announced the takeover of BERSAMA. Muhammad Kamil made these remarks during the Padang Rengas Family Day held in conjunction with the Fun Run Untukmu Ibu 2026 programme at Kampung Labu Kubong.

&l t;P>Furthermore, Muhammad Kamil asserted that the move by Rafizi and former PKR vice-president Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad to take over BERSAMA would not significantly impact PKR's grassroots strength. He also criticized PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang for irresponsibly attributing an error by Pasir Puteh MP Datuk Dr Nik Muhammad Zawawi Salleh to possible influences from historical writings. Muhammad Kamil argued that such explanations trivialize the issue and contribute to confusion among Muslims.

In another discussion, Muhammad Kamil addressed the government's cost-saving measures and prudent approach amid the global supply crisis, assuring that these initiatives have not hindered efforts to safeguard the welfare and well-being of the public. He highlighted ongoing initiatives and development programs targeted at supporting the people, albeit on a smaller scale.

Last week, Unity Government spokesman Datuk Fahmi Fadzil reported at a post-Cabinet meeting press conference that the government's strategy to streamline operational spending across various ministries and agencies had achieved about 50 percent of its savings target. Fahmi noted that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who also serves as Finance Minister, acknowledged that these measures have yielded positive outcomes without compromising service delivery or ministry program implementations.
