PDRM Leaders Urged to Prioritize Integrity and Fairness

Sarawak:Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) leaders have been urged to maintain integrity and fairness while avoiding the abuse of their positions.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Abdul Aziz Abdul Majid emphasized that leadership is a trust, not a privilege for personal gain. He stressed the importance of making decisions grounded in integrity and accountability during a ceremony at the Sarawak Police Contingent Headquarters.

Datuk Seri Abdul Aziz highlighted the significance of guiding and protecting subordinate officers, fostering a work environment based on harmony and respect. This statement was made at the handover ceremony for the Sarawak acting police commissioner and acting chairman of the Sarawak Contingent Persatuan Keluarga Polis (Perkep), where duties were transferred from PDRM Management Department director Datuk Mohamad Zainal Abdullah to his deputy DCP Saifullizan Ishak. Mohamad Zainal is set to commence his duties at Bukit Aman.
