Kuala Lampur:Eight areas recorded unhealthy Air Pollutant Index (API) levels as of 10 am today, according to the Malaysian Air Pollutant Index Management System (APIMS) portal.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, in Selangor, Johan Setia, Shah Alam, and Klang registered API levels of 155, 153, and 151, respectively.
Negeri Sembilan saw Nilai, Port Dickson, and Seremban with unhealthy API readings of 152, 120, and 114, respectively. Meanwhile, Putrajaya and Cheras, Kuala Lumpur recorded API levels of 162 and 141.
Additionally, 53 areas reported moderate API levels, while seven areas had good air quality. The API scale classifies readings from 0 to 50 as good, 51 to 100 as moderate, 101 to 200 as unhealthy, 201 to 300 as very unhealthy, and readings above 300 as hazardous.
