Pasir salak: The Pasir Salak GiatMARA centre will be relocated to the engineering workshop area of the Seberang Perak Integrated Agricultural Development Area (IADA) in Ulu Dedap, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said. Ahmad Zahid, who is also the Rural and Regional Development Minister, stated that the move was necessary as the centre is currently operating in a rented building at Pulau Tiga, Kampung Gajah.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ahmad Zahid announced the relocation decision during the Felcra Berhad Interim Profit Declaration 1/2025 ceremony. He emphasized that the new site would offer courses relevant to market demand, including agricultural machinery repair, to better serve the community’s needs.

Also present at the ceremony were Deputy Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Rubiah Wang and Perak Menteri Besar’s special officer for the Kampung Gajah state constituency, Khairul Azwan Harun. In addition to the relocation, Ahmad Zahid mentioned that MARA would pursue allocations to construct business premises in Changkat Lada, Seberang Perak.

He also addressed a request for a sports complex in the area, noting that initial plans include the development of a fenced football field with synthetic turf.
