Melaka:No decision has been made yet on the form of political cooperation for the upcoming Melaka state election, Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim stated.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Prime Minister has assigned PH Election Director Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari to engage in discussions regarding the matter. Anwar emphasized the importance of being open to dialogue, stating, "We should not be arrogant. If people say they are ready to discuss, then we discuss. That is how politics works."

Anwar was addressing questions about whether discussions had been initiated following the dissolution of the Melaka Legislative Assembly, which took effect today. He confirmed that talks had also been conducted with Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), but no decision has been reached, leaving the matter to the committee while he focuses on his duties as Prime Minister.

The Election Commission (EC) announced it has received official notification of the dissolution of the 15th Melaka Legislative Assembly and will schedule a special meeting to set key dates for the state election.
