Melaka:Pakatan Harapan (PH) plans to announce its candidates for the Melaka state election one to two weeks before nomination day, as stated by Datuk Azman Abidin, the Prime Minister's political secretary.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, this strategy is intended to facilitate early preparations for PH, avoiding last-minute finalizations of candidates.

The selection process will be managed by the party leadership, considering inputs from party divisions, state leaders, and grassroots members before making a final decision.

During a visit to Kuala Linggi, Azman interacted with beneficiaries of the Ziarah Kasih programme, which includes financial support and other aid such as wheelchairs for those in need. This initiative, supported by the Prime Minister's Department, will continue in other areas of Melaka, including the Jasin parliamentary constituency, in the coming week.
