Kuala lumpur: Over 413,000 students are poised to take the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2025 examination, which is scheduled to commence on Monday, Nov 3, and continue until Dec 23 across 3,350 examination centers throughout the country.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Ministry of Education (MOE) released a statement today detailing the examination schedule. The Bahasa Melayu Oral Test is slated for Nov 3 to 6, succeeded by the English Language Oral Test from Nov 10 to 13. The Science Practical Test is set for Nov 17 to 19, while the Malay Language and English Language Listening Tests will occur on Nov 20. The written exams are scheduled to run from Nov 25 until Dec 23, with the involvement of 127,526 examination personnel to ensure the proceedings are managed efficiently.
The MOE has urged all candidates to consult the SPM 2025 timetable for detailed information on examination schedules, including dates, times, paper codes, and titles, as well as the necessary instructions for the examination period. Candidates can access the timetable through the Malaysian Examinations Board (LP) portal at lp.moe.gov.my. They are also reminded to bring identification documents and Examination Registration Slip and adhere to all standard operating procedures and regulations to facilitate a smooth examination process.
The ministry emphasized its concern for the safety and welfare of candidates and examination staff, particularly in the face of emergencies such as natural disasters or the potential spread of Influenza-Like Illness (ILI) during the examination period. The MOE stated that it is fully equipped with appropriate mechanisms and preventive measures, in collaboration with relevant agencies. Candidates experiencing any disaster-related issues are advised to promptly inform their schools or state education departments (JPN), or they may contact the LP or JPN operations rooms nationwide. The ministry reiterated its dedication to conducting the 2025 SPM examination efficiently and systematically.
