Putrajaya:The Immigration Department detained 84 foreign nationals at Pangsapuri Putra Harmoni, known as the "Green Flats," following intelligence gathering and public tip-offs.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, 60 Immigration personnel conducted the operation in two phases beginning yesterday. The first phase started at 1130 am, focusing on business premises in the apartment area, while the second phase resumed at 130 am today, targeting residents suspected of being illegal immigrants.

During the operation, 321 individuals were inspected, resulting in the detention of 84 foreign nationals, including 73 men, nine women, and two children, for further investigation. The department noted that some foreign nationals were believed to be conducting business activities in the area.
