Kuala Lumpur:Accessing key government services has become more streamlined with the MyGOV Malaysia app, which now consolidates services such as driving licences, road tax, Road Transport Department (JPJ) summons checks, passports, government clinic appointments, and Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR).
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil announced the integration in a social media video post. He stated that the app aims to simplify and smoothen public access to various government services by bringing them together on a single platform.
The app also enables users to check unclaimed money, with additional services set to be integrated in phases. A notable feature of the MyGOV Malaysia app is its 'AI Chat,' which provides users with direct information and answers regarding government services.
Fahmi emphasized the goal of the app is to bring all government services directly to the people in a comprehensive manner. He encouraged the public to download MyGOV Malaysia to take advantage of these convenient digital services.
