Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Football League (MFL) will thoroughly examine the views and concerns raised by clubs during a roundtable discussion with Malaysia League (M-League) representatives here today. MFL President Datuk Ab Ghani Hassan stated that such discussion sessions are part of the organisation's ongoing practice of gathering feedback from all stakeholders.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, all feedback received will be reviewed collectively to ensure the best approach is formulated for the benefit of all parties involved. Ab Ghani emphasized that this is not the first time such discussions have occurred, as they are a regular part of MFL's efforts, although they may not always be publicized. He noted that many issues have been previously discussed publicly and today's discussion was timely as the league is nearing its end and the new season is expected to begin in August.
Ab Ghani highlighted that the MFL's primary role is not centered on profit generation but on ensuring that clubs remain competitive within the domestic football landscape. The MFL aims to study the feedback received to help clubs stay competitive in the M-League.
The discussion, chaired by Ab Ghani, included participation from MFL Board Member Mustaza Ahmad, Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) Club Director Datuk Seri Mohamad Jaifuddin Bujang, Kuching City FC CEO Iswandi Ali Hassan, Penang FC General Manager Jeffery Chew Gim Eam, and MFL CEO Mohd Shazli Shaik Mohd. Ten other club representatives from various teams such as Sabah FC, Imigresen FC, and Kelantan TRW, among others, also attended the session.
A notable moment during the discussion was the unexpected arrival of JDT owner Tunku Mahkota Ismail, which occurred while the session was underway.
