Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds affecting several areas in Sarawak and Sabah until 9 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, a statement issued by MetMalaysia at 5 pm indicates that the adverse weather is expected to impact parts of Sarawak, including Kapit (Bukit Mabong and Belaga), Miri (Beluru and Telang Usan), and Limbang.

In Sabah, the forecast predicts similar weather conditions in the interior areas of Sipitang, Kuala Penyu, and Beaufort, as well as the west coast districts of Papar, Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, and Tuaran.
