According to BERNAMA News Agency, one of the primary topics discussed was the critical importance of upholding multilateralism in international relations, especially amidst growing geopolitical uncertainties. Mohamad emphasized that this year's theme underscores the significance of multilateralism and maintaining these relations, aligning with Malaysia's foreign policy, which advocates for multilateralism as the foundation of international relations.

On the issue of the Strait of Hormuz, Mohamad reported that Iran assured that Malaysian vessels would not face issues passing through the strategic waterway, even though heavy congestion has led to longer transit times.

These included a courtesy call on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, delivering two statements, attending an official dinner, and engaging in seven bilateral meetings.
