Alor setar: The Sultan of Kedah, Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah, today attended the Royal Family Presentation Ceremony of the Sultan of Kedah and the breaking of fast event at the Balai Santapan Besar, Istana Anak Bukit.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the event was also attended by the Raja Muda of Kedah, Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Sultan Sallehuddin, and the Tunku Mahkota of Kedah, Tunku Shazuddin Ariff Sultan Sallehuddin. Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, members of the State Executive Council, and State Secretary Datuk Seri Norizan Khazali were also present.

During the ceremony, Sultan Sallehuddin, along with the Raja Muda of Kedah and the Tunku Mahkota of Kedah, presented contributions symbolically to district officers. These contributions, in the form of food baskets, are intended for distribution to identified recipients.

A statement from the Office of the Sultan of Kedah indicated that a total of 1,200 food baskets will be distributed across 12 districts in the state. The distribution, set to begin tomorrow, aims to support those in need.

The statement emphasized the royal institution's ongoing commitment to the people, especially during the month of Ramadan.
