Kuala Lumpur:Parts of Jalan Tengah will be closed nightly starting from tomorrow until December 31 to facilitate utility works for the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Mutiara Line project.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Malaysia Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) announced that the closures will occur daily from 10 pm to 5 am.
The rightmost lanes in both directions between the Persiaran Mahsuri traffic light junction and Jalan Tun Dr Awang will be affected. However, other lanes will remain open for traffic throughout the period.
MRT Corp has advised motorists to exercise caution when traveling through the area. To manage traffic flow and ensure safety, signboards, traffic cones, and flagmen will be deployed.
