i-TRIPs Programme Supports 483 SPM Candidates in Perlis

Kuala Lampur:A total of 483 candidates from 26 schools in Perlis are participating in the i-TRIPs programme, designed to enhance their preparation for the 2026 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Professor Emeritus Datuk Dr Kamarudin Hussin, Executive Chairman of the Faizuddin Centre of Educational Excellence (FCoEE), stated that the programme is divided into two phases. Phase 1 includes 243 students from seven selected schools and runs from yesterday until Saturday, October 10. Phase 2 will involve 240 students from 19 daily schools and will take place from October 12 to 17.

The programme aims to improve academic performance through targeted training, performance analysis, and confidence building ahead of the SPM. This initiative was launched at the Perlis State Education Department by the Perlis State Education director, Ishak Awang.

Kamarudin highlighted that the programme is a collaboration between FCoEE and the Perlis State Education Department, supported by a wakalah contribution from the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN). He noted that this support is crucial for students to maximize their preparation time and achieve excellent results.

He extended gratitude to PTPTN for their contribution and acknowledged the efforts of JPN Perlis, teachers, and all parties involved in the success of this initiative.
