Melaka: The Malaysia Semiconductor Industry Association (MSIA), in collaboration with Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Invest Melaka Berhad, Infineon Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., and Maybank, jointly hosted the MSIA Dialogue and Networking Session with the Chief Minister of Melaka on 16 July 2026 at Hatten Hotel, Melaka.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the event, which centered on the theme "Transforming Melaka into a Future-Ready Semiconductor and Advanced Manufacturing Hub: Driving Talent, Sustainability and Industrial Excellence", aimed to foster dialogue between the public and private sectors. The discussions focused on enhancing the state's semiconductor ecosystem, boosting industry competitiveness, and exploring opportunities from the industry's growth. Melaka, with its semiconductor heritage spanning over five decades, continues to enhance its established industrial foundation.
