Form One Student Suffers Serious Injuries in Fall from School’s Third Floor

Kulim:A Form One student sustained serious injuries after reportedly falling from the third floor of a school on Sunday afternoon.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the incident occurred around 3.30 pm, with the 13-year-old boy discovered lying on the ground near the staircase of the school's Block E. A teacher found the student, who was conscious and able to speak, before he was taken to Kulim Hospital.

Preliminary information suggests that the student may have been under stress due to academic pressures, fearing he might not meet his parents' expectations ahead of upcoming examinations. However, investigations are ongoing, and several individuals, including the student's parents, have been asked to provide statements.

The student is currently in the hospital's red zone, suffering from serious injuries such as bleeding in the brain, and fractures to his face and legs. The case is being investigated under Section 507D(2) of the Penal Code.
