KUALA LUMPUR: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today. Spot months November 2024, December 2024, and March 2025 each experienced a decrease of 4.0 points, settling at 1,621.0, 1,625.0, and 1,614.0, respectively, while June 2025 saw a more significant dip of 7.5 points to 1,619.5.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the turnover saw a notable increase, rising to 10,661 lots from 5,810 lots on Wednesday. Additionally, the open interest climbed to 43,832 contracts, up from the previous count of 38,865 contracts. At the close of trading at 5 pm, the FBM KLCI itself had decreased by 10.89 points, standing at 1,623.28 compared to Wednesday’s close of 1,634.17.
