Fahmi Fadzil Concludes Intensive Visit to Labuan with Multiple Engagements

Labuan:Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil today concluded a busy working visit to the duty-free island, completing a series of official and community engagements in a single day.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fahmi's schedule commenced with the inauguration of the RM9 million Communications Ministry Complex. He then participated in various activities, including a session at the National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI) in Kampung Sungai Labu, where he also joined an online meeting.

In the afternoon, Fahmi continued his visit with the Ziarah Kasih programme. He also presented a Tabung Kasih@HAWANA contribution to a local journalist who uses a prosthetic leg.

Despite the demanding schedule, Fahmi managed to fulfill all his commitments before leaving Labuan for Kota Kinabalu in the evening.

The visit highlighted the ministry's ongoing efforts to engage with stakeholders and the community in Labuan. Fahmi used this opportunity to connect with local residents and assess programmes run by agencies under the Communications Ministry.

He was accompanied by Ministry of Communications Secretary-General Datuk Abdul Halim Hamzah, Information Department Director-General Erwin Khairul Ahmad, and Bernama Deputy Chief Editor Mohd Shukri Ishak.
