Kuala lumpur: Cushman and Wakefield, a global real estate services firm, has announced that its Global Occupier Services (GOS) team has secured an off-market contract extension with BHP, one of the world’s leading resources companies. The renewed agreement underscores Cushman and Wakefield’s role as a key partner in providing a comprehensive range of workplace and real estate services across BHP’s global corporate office portfolio.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, BHP decided to extend the agreement due to Cushman and Wakefield’s strong operational performance and collaborative approach. Key factors influencing the renewal included a shared commitment to cost containment and innovation, alongside support for BHP’s Workplace Digital and AI Roadmap.
The partnership spans 12 countries, covering 19 offices and over 1.466 million square feet in regions including Australia, Asia, North America, South America, and the United Kingdom. Under the extended agreement, Cushman and Wakefield will deliver an expa
nded range of services, such as facilities management, workplace experience, workplace design standards, procurement, and other workplace and real estate functions.
The collaboration, initiated in 2017 and expanded to a global scale in 2021, demonstrates both organizations’ dedication to creating high-performance workplaces that enhance people, productivity, and sustainability across BHP’s global operations. Cushman and Wakefield employs approximately 52,000 people across nearly 400 offices in 60 countries and has received numerous accolades for its corporate culture.
