Pahang:Bukit Aman Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department director Datuk Noor Hisam Nordin led the list of 58 recipients of Pahang state awards and medals during the 67th birthday celebration of Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the investiture ceremony took place at Balai Mahkota, Istana Abdulaziz, with Al-Sultan Abdullah officiating the event. The Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, and the Tengku Mahkota of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah, were also present.
Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail and other state government leaders attended the ceremony. Datuk Noor Hisam, who previously served as the Deputy Chief of Pahang Police, was awarded the Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP), which includes the title of Datuk Seri.
Al-Sultan Abdullah conferred the SSAP on six additional recipients, including National Heart Institute's Professor Datuk Suhaini Kadiman and Tenaga Nasional Bhd's Datuk Shamsul Ahmad. Other SSAP recipients were Engtex Group Bhd's Datuk Ng Chooi Guan, Far East (Melaka) Sdn Bhd's Datuk Ling Kah Chok, Low Capital Sdn Bhd's Professor Dr Kevin Low Lock Teng, and Palz Group of Companies' S.S. Sathiaseelan.
The Darjah Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (DSAP), carrying the title of Datuk, was awarded to 11 individuals, such as former badminton player and coach Sairul Amar Ayob and Water Supply Department's Datuk Anita Mohamed Shafie. Other DSAP recipients included Kamal Azira Hassan, Major General Datuk Sani S. Omar, and Ayub Zaidin.
Among the 32 recipients of the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) were Tengku Suleiman Tengku Abdul Rahman, Tengku Akashah Tengku Hussain, and Datin Samsiah Arshad. Pahang MACC director Mohd Shukor Mahmud and Pahang MMEA director First Admiral (Maritime) Mazlan Mat Rejab were also honored, along with several others.
Additional DIMP recipients included senior private secretaries Mohammad Faizal Abdul Rahim and Firdaus Farid Abd Rashid, political secretary Mohd Farid Mohd Nor, and Chief Imam Mohd Rizzal Mohd Ali Nafiah. Former footballer See Kim Seng, commentator Abu Bakar Atan, and singer Ameng Spring also received the DIMP.
The Setia Mahkota Pahang (SMP) was conferred on five individuals, including Rompin police chief Supt Sharif Shai Sharif Mondoi. One person received the Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (AAP), and two others were awarded the Ahli Mahkota Pahang (AMP).
