ANWAR RECEIVES COURTESY CALL FROM NGO, YOUTH ORGANISATION LEADERS

KUALA LUMPUR, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim received a courtesy call from representatives of several non-governmental organisations (NGO) and youth organisations at Perdana Putra, Putrajaya today. Those who met the prime minister today included World Assembly Of Youth (WAY) president Datuk Seri Idris Haron, Malaysian Youth Council president Mohd Izzat Afifi Abdul Hamid, Asian African Youth Government (AAYG) vice-president Dr Jufitri Joha and Benevolent Malaysia (Malaysia Pemurah) president Muhammad Hanapi Jamaludin. 'The meeting was a discussion encompassing developments and the role of the organisation (WAY) and to discuss the current and future direction of youth leadership along with main activities of youth organisations at a global level. 'I also managed to provide some words of wisdom to future youth leaders, as they will be the ones helming their various organisations,' Anwar posted on Facebook today. He also expressed hope that Malaysia would give birth to a generation of youth who were ready for any challenge, test, situation and difficulties in the present and future as outlined in the MADANI Youth Development Model 2030.
