Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged all personnel of the Immigration Department (JIM) to execute their duties with the utmost integrity, firmly rejecting any form of irregularities and corruption.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, in a Facebook post marking Immigration Day, Anwar emphasized the need for JIM personnel to not only uphold integrity but also embrace compassion while delivering efficient, courteous, and professional services. The Prime Minister expressed his hope for continued excellence from JIM personnel in their mission to safeguard the nation's sovereignty.

Anwar extended his wishes for Immigration Day, encouraging all JIM personnel to maintain their excellence in serving the people and elevating Malaysia's reputation on the global stage. The theme for the 2026 Immigration Day celebration is "Charting a New Face for Immigration."
