Kuala lumpur: Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral has introduced an exclusive dining experience for Ramadan, known as Selera Urban Sentral ft. Amelia Christie, at its Nook restaurant. This event is a unique collaboration with Malaysian actress and lifestyle influencer Amelia Christie, aiming to blend traditional buka puasa delicacies with a modern urban twist.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Aloft Hotels announced that this Ramadan buffet is inspired by the vibrant energy of KL Sentral, offering a fresh take on traditional flavors. The buffet reimagines classic recipes by introducing contemporary elements, such as Nasi Kerabu Sushi Roll, Kerabu Soba with Seafood, and Nachos served with Tempeh Bolognaise and Tomato Sambal.
The dining experience is further enriched with a live carving station showcasing Kambing Bakar Berempah, which can also be enjoyed in the form of a Burrito Kambing Bakar. Additionally, live cooking stations serve innovative dishes like Beef Roti John with Avocado Salad. Patrons can also savor an array of Ramadan delights, including Masak Lemak Cili Api Baby Lobster and Briyani Itik Salai, along with desserts like Pistachio Kunafa Cheesecake, Kek Batik Matcha, and Banana Pudding.
Aloft Hotels also highlighted that the buffet ambiance is enhanced with live violin performances by Syerot, adding a festive and vibrant atmosphere to the dining experience.
Amelia Christie expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting that Ramadan is a time for togetherness and sharing meals. She emphasized that creating moments over food at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral's Nook allows people to connect and celebrate the holy month in a refreshing and lively manner.
Chef de Cuisine, Chef Iskandar Zarrataj, also shared his excitement about the collaboration. He stated that working with Amelia Christie was a natural choice due to their shared vision of honoring traditional heritage while embracing contemporary trends. Together, they have curated the Selera Urban Sentral dinner buffet to offer a new twist on traditional favorites.
The Selera Urban Sentral ft. Amelia Christie buffet will be available from February 23 to March 18, priced at RM158 nett per person. An early bird rate of RM128 nett per person is available until February 16, with a special rate of RM98 nett for children and senior citizens.
For corporate events and larger gatherings, the buffet experience offers private dining options in the Grand Ballroom and Tactic spaces. These settings provide an ideal environment for colleagues, clients, and guests to break fast together, with prices starting from RM188 nett per person.
